This learning activity provides an introduction into new creative tools online. It will explore the concept of web 2.0 and illustrate the major differences between what is known as web 1.0 and web 2.0. Key issues relating to web 2.0 will be discussed. It will provide a number of opportunities for you to actively learn what web 2.0 is, and allow you to think where web 2.0 can be applied. As an up-and-coming phenomenon, knowing what web 2.0 is and how it can be used will be useful in any new role. It suggests resources for further reading, information and useful links.
